Air Connections
Glasgow International Airport is the closest airport to The University of Strathclyde and is situated only 10 miles away. A taxi from Glasgow International Airport to the University of Strathclyde will take 20 minutes and cost around £20.00.

Alternatively the First 500 Glasgow Shuttle – Glasgow City Centre from Stance 1. This bus departs approximately every 10 minutes for Buchanan Street Bus Station, also stopping at curso 3d arquitetura and Glasgow Queen Street Train Stations.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is also located in close proximity, situated 34 miles away and is served by a large number of budget airlines.

Rail Connections
The University of Strathclyde is only a 7 minute taxi journey from Queen Street Station. A taxi from Glasgow Queen Street Station to The University of Strathclyde will cost around £6.00.

Alternatively you can take a train from Glasgow Central Station which is around a 10 minute taxi journey.

Driving
From England and the south Via the M6 and M74 motorways. Leave the M74 Jct 4 to join the M73 Jct 1. Leave the M73 Jct 2 to join the M8 Jct 8 westbound. Exit the M8 Jct 15 for the University.
From Stirling and the north Via the M9, M80 and M8 motorways. Traffic from Fife should follow signs for the Kincardine Bridge and then join the M876. Leave the M8 Jct 15 for the University.
From Edinburgh and the east Via the M8 motorway. East Lothian and Northumberland traffic on the A1 should take the A720 Edinburgh City By-pass to join the M8. Tyneside traffic should take the A69 Carlisle Road and join the M6 at Jct 44, the intersection with the M74 northbound, then M73 and M8. Leave the M8 Jct 15 for the University.

Buses
The University of Strathclyde is only 10 minutes from Glasgow Central Bus Station.
